Local Outreach
Spokane and North Idaho have many ongoing needs, and we love getting to work together to meet them. We love our city, and we'd love for you to join us on mission to reach and serve all of God's children.
Three big ways to love our neighbors this season. Jump in on any of them.
Saturday, October 31 · 6-8pm
Help our local first responders connect with the community they serve. First responders hand out candy from decorated trunks, Sun City adds trunks of our own, and we need volunteers and trunk hosts. Best Trunk contest with prizes!

Partner with World Relief to welcome families who are new to life in the U.S. Share a Thanksgiving dinner, help introduce the holiday, and create space for belonging and new friendships.

Help Partners INW, KREM Cares, and Second Harvest pack and distribute 2,350 Thanksgiving meal boxes. Shifts are two hours, and you can serve as many as you like. Partners INW, 10814 E Broadway Ave.

We keep a round-the-clock break room stocked for local first responders. Volunteers clean, restock snacks and drinks, or bake goodies, on a schedule that works for you.
Fridays · 5-8pm
Sit and converse with immigrant neighbors who are learning English. No teaching experience needed, just friendliness.
Join the interest groupMondays 6-8pm · Tuesdays 7-8:30pm
Serve food to neighbors experiencing homelessness in partnership with Jesus People Coffee House.
Recovery ministry
Marlin and Laura Yoder's ministry supports formerly incarcerated men with Bible study, worship, and Monday potlucks. Serving here requires a short application and leadership approval.
Get involvedWeekly
We host weekly church services at Airway Heights Correctional Facility. Volunteers serve in the Recovery Ministry first; this role requires leadership and facility approval.
English Learning Group
If you find yourself drawn by the opportunity to embrace God's heart for the immigrant and refugee that He has brought to your neighborhood, this group is for you. No previous teaching or foreign language experience is needed.
Do you speak another language? We are working on translating curriculum, bridging communication, and more. We'd love your help to reach all of God's people!
