Location: Sun City Church – Spokane, WA
Status: Full-Time
Reports to: Executive Pastor

We’re a life-giving, growing church with a focus on helping people encounter Jesus and find their place in the local church. Community is at the heart of who we are, and we’re looking for someone to help lead the charge.
But this isn’t just a one-size-fits-all position. We’re inviting applicants to bring their strengths to the table. Depending on the person, this role could expand or shift to include other ministry areas (like teaching, events, outreach, connections, or creative leadership).
We are stepping into a season of team reimagining, and we’re praying God will bring the right person to lead in this vital space of connection and discipleship.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Director who will champion connection and belonging through small groups and relational ministry.
Key Responsibilities:
Small Groups & Community Life
Lead the vision and strategy for small groups at Sun City Church.
Recruit, train, and coach small group leaders to cultivate healthy, growing groups.
Create on-ramps for new people to find connection and community easily.
Develop and oversee systems for multiplying leaders and launching new groups.
Leadership Development
Equip and encourage volunteer leaders through one-on-one meetings, coaching rhythms, and training events.
Help build a culture of discipleship and care within our teams and groups.
